In North America, the monsoon season typically provides between 30% and 70% of annual rainfall. Every year between June and September, vast regions of Asia, Africa, and the Americas await the arrival of the monsoons. These seasonal rains replenish rivers, reservoirs, and aquifers while supporting agriculture.
